The World!

We are going to take a look at the effect that GOD Is Love has had on the world. This journey must begin with GOD'S overall plan for the world; GOD loves the world!

Everyone who knows GOD personally, knows John 3:16 by memory. It's almost too easy to quote this verse and pass over it's significance. Without GOD'S love, there would be no salvation in the world, HIS love is not an intellectual idea or concept but a fact that produced it's planned results. These results have forever changed the world!

"For GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS ONE and ONLY SON, that whoever believes in HIM shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

What results? GOD loving HIS enemies, and sending HIS ONLY SON to die for their sins! Dr. Billy Ghramn has said; "Many millions of people will miss Heaven by a distance of 18 inches! The distance between the head and the heart." This will never make sense to the natural mind, and yet, if this were not the truth, all mankind would have to go to hell for their sins!

Because GOD Is Love, those who believe in HIS SON, are granted eternal life. What do we have that GOD has not given us? What do we have to live for but HIS desires and purposes? What does GOD ultimately want of us? GOD wants us to be like HIM, to love the world and spread HIS good news to every person we ever meet, anyway we can.

Since GOD Is Love, HE did not send HIS SON to die for us alone, but for the entire world. We all have a part in helping people find HIM while there is time. In our gratitude for the gift of eternal life, let's be busy searching for the lost of GOD wherever HE has put us in life.

"How, then, can they call on the ONE they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the ONE of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" Romans 10:14,15
