Have
you heard of the LAMB'S Book of Life? Have you
read the following Scripture: Revelation
21:27
Nothing
impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but
only those whose names are written in
the Lamb's book of life. |
This
refers to the new Jerusalem, which comes down from heaven after the Great
Tribulation. This will be our everlasting home if we are included in the Book
referred to above. How
do you get there? Only one way, and that is by trusting in the completed work of JESUS
on the Cross. No good thing that we do can ever get us into that Book. So,
as far as I can tell, the state of a person can only be one of the following: A.
In the LAMB'S Book of Life B.
Not in the LAMB'S Book of
Life Don't
get me wrong, once in the Book, the HOLY SPIRIT
begins the never ending (in this life) struggle to make us better. We will never be
perfect, but there will be a change in our life starting the day we accept JESUS
as SAVIOR. Are
