JESUS has a tough job.  HE has to hold us together, grow us and build us.  And we don’t always cooperate with HIM.

Well, I am sure if JESUS came to us personally and said, “I want to hold you together, grow you and build you, and I promise it will be easy and fun.”  We would probably cooperate.

But the truth is that we buck against HIM holding us together.  So, we cause ourselves pain when we do.  And we only grow by going through trial.  So, since we hate trial, we aren’t very cooperative there either!

Actually for the most part, I think we are not good students!  We are trouble.  But HE just hangs with us and has great patience! JESUS is good that way.

But, why not make HIS task a bit easier?  Let’s cooperate more, be less willful and stubborn (not me)!  Let’s have ourselves pointed toward the group, not away!

In this way, we will stay closer to each other, grow faster and build stronger!
