It is impossible to drive away the HOLY SPIRIT!  Well, that is my opinion, and it is not one shared by many of my Christian Family.  But that has never stopped me from having an opinion in the past!

I believe that it is quite possible to drive away our “perception” of the HOLY SPIRIT! Now, that is a different story.  But, even when we don’t “feel” HIM, HE is still there!

HE has sealed us for the day of redemption!  This is what HE does, among other things.  HE never fails!  I do, you do, but HE doesn’t!

Now, it is very possible to grieve HIM!  Of course, that is true because here it is in front of us, in our Scripture for today!

We grieve HIM by sin.  But, mostly we grieve HIM when we forget how we are forgiven!  Did you know that one of HIS main tasks is to remind us of our salvation (part of being sealed).

We may grieve HIM slightly when we sin, but we grieve HIM hugely when we forget that JESUS paid for that sin!  We grieve HIM tremendously when we wallow in self-pity instead of receiving HIS forgiveness, acceptance and assistance.  We grieve HIM the most when we let the enemy use that refusal to accept forgiveness as an inroad into our demise!

So . . . . . Don’t grieve HIM like this.  If you have sinned, get right, get back and receive HIS loving repair!
