Simple instructions on how to act as a Follower of JESUS - 

Quick note.  Doing theses will not save you.  Only a saving faith in JESUS will do that.  And not doing them will not send you to hell.  But there will definitely be some explaining to do to HIM!

OK.  That being said, our first section covers speech.  This one is so simple.  Our speech is to build others. So, it is time to examine.  Does our speech build others?

Husband?  Wife?  Children?  Co-workers?  Boss?  Are we building them or knocking them down?

Try this little test.  Everything you say today or tomorrow . . . As you say it, think,  “Is this a building thing, or a destructive thing?”

As we analyze, we will find that we will tend toward the building.  I guess it is the old mom saying, “Think before you speak,” that comes into play.

What a better world if we all sought to build others.  We can help.  That is because it is infectious as is destructive speech.

So go today (and every day) and infect someone with building speech.  And remember, what goes around comes around!
