James 4:8

"Come close to GOD, and GOD will come close to you.  Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between GOD and the world."

 

 

Drawing near to GOD -

Step One:  Pray!
Ask HIM to help you do whatever is necessary to increase the strength of your relationship with HIM.

Step Two:
Wash your hands.  That's right.  If there is something that is going on in your life that you know is keeping you from a close friendship with HIM, wash it away!  HE came to cleanse us of all sin, and HE will.  

Confess out loud to HIM and HE is faithful to forgive you and cleanse you!

How could it be so simple?  Because HE knows our frame.  HE made things so simple a child can understand.  Our sin is forgiven as we bring it to HIS Light.  When we shelter those areas of our lives, we are not allowing HIS power to clean us up.

Simple . . . .  Wash your hands.
