Psalms 150:6
" Let everything that has breath praise the LORD."
Praise the LORD.
Well, I guess this Scripture says it all about Praise! Everything with breath. That would include alligators to zebras. And humans. At least those that are breathing.
All of us should praise, but especially we who know HIM! We who understand HIS Greatness and Love for us, HIS creation. We should be praising HIM all the time.
A story I have used often. I was a new believer and in a Christian bookstore buying some CP (Christian paraphernalia). I struck up a conversation with the LOL (little old lady) who was attending to me. By the way, I use the term LOL with all fear and trembling! Most of us are alive and well because of the powerful prayers going up by the LORD'S senior women. That is my belief!
Back to my story. Sister Mary told me that I should be praying always. I asked how could that be possible since I am working much of the time and can't go kneel down, etc. She told me that she had been praying for me since I came into the store. She called it "breathing prayer."
I think we should be "breathing Praise" too! As we work, go to school, attend to our daily chores,. we can praise HIM for all HE is doing for us! HE is worthy of Loud Praise, but at times when we can't practically, soft will have to do!
So, try it this week. Write yourself a note to breath praise (and prayer, for that matter). If you are striving for a closer walk, I guarantee this will do it for you!
