^"Praise HIM for HIS acts of power;
praise HIM for HIS surpassing greatness."

Two things about our GOD:

1.  HE is active.
2.  HE is powerful.

Well, a third...  HE is Worthy of Praise.  Now you may be a brand new Follower of JESUS and are wondering about some of this praise and worship talk.  Here is the thing.  As soon as you start believing (with enough faith to be saved, which can be a very small amount) the LORD uses that faith to begin acting on your behalf.

It is my belief that HE is always acting and it is always on someone's behalf.  That is just the kind of GOD HE is!  So, it doesn't take long until HE has built a Track Record with you.  HIS work in your life will bring HIS joy and HIS love and HIS peace.  HIS work always brings a better life!

Think of it for a moment as if someone in your line of work takes a personal interest in you.  Let's make that person the Owner / CEO / General Manager of the company for which you work.  Each day brings a new way this person has blessed you.  He is looking at your life and making improvements for you.  Your employment life is getting better and more effective at a rapid pace.

What a wonderful thing if this could / would happen.  How you would appreciate this person's active role in your life.

What we have with our GOD is the same only So Much Better!  Our FATHER is looking at us and making daily improvements in everything that concerns us.  HE takes pleasure in  using HIS Power and Authority on our behalf!  

If we could purchase this favor from the most powerful being in the universe, it would be beyond value!  But we can't.  We can only receive HIS favor absolutely freely, through the work of JESUS on the cross.  The FATHER'S Favor and Blessings brought to us for free, paid for in full by JESUS and issued and enacted by the HOLY SPIRIT!
